The accident took place at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Camino Santa Fe near Rasha Street.
As per the article, San Diego police said a 22-year-old man was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle in the southbound No. 1 lane of Camino Santa Fe approaching Rasha Street when he collided with the driver side of a Jeep Liberty.
The man was then taken to Scripp’s La Jolla Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries including a fractured left wrist and a fractured left femur. His name was not disclosed.
Meanwhile the driver of the Jeep, an 18-year-old man, had entered the intersection to make a left turn when the collision occurred. He reportedly did not notice the rider approaching.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
