Motorcycle Rider Collides with Vehicle
TWAIN HARTE, California (July 21, 2016) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on Highway 108 Thursday night, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP said a motorcycle was found down on its side after colliding with a vehicle about 9:40 p.m. The crash took place near Sugarpine Road, just west of the Sugarpine community.
As per the incident log, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to and transport the rider to Shasta Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victim, whose name was not immediately available, suffered a broken left leg and lacerations throughout the body.
Authorities will determine the cause of the accident once the investigation process is over.
