CHICO, California (May 3, 2016) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries after crash with another vehicle at 8th Street and Nord Avenue Monday afternoon, according to Action News.
The accident happened at around 1:45 p.m.
Preliminary report stated that a van was traveling south on Nord when it suddenly veered from its lane towards a gas station’s drive way.
The event led the van to drive in front of an oncoming Yamaha motorcycle. The rider was unable to stop, resulting in collision, as mentioned in the article.
The force from the impact concluded in the motorcycle rider suffering in major injuries. Its identity remained private with the authorities until families and friends have been respectively notified.
Meanwhile, no occupant from the van was hurt from the smash.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to gather more evidences and witness statements before pronouncing closure and citation.
