Highway 243 Fatal Motorcycle Accident
MOUNTAIN CENTER, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2017) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon when he was struck by a pickup truck on State Route Highway 243, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The fatal crash took place about 12:41 p.m. this afternoon near Florida Avenue (Highway 74). The report states that the rider was not moving after the crash and it appears he or she died of their injuries at the scene.
The truck was partially block a lane which was covered in debris from the crash.
The collision is under investigation by police to determine liability.
