Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Mountain Center Crash on Highway 74
MOUNTAIN CENTER (April 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a traffic collision with a vehicle along Highway 74 Sunday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a motorcycle and an orange colored Scion collided for an unknown reason on Highway 74.
The accident was reported at approximately 5:25 p.m., about three miles just east of Cahuilla Tewanet Vista Point.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the rider who suffered major injuries as a result of the crash.
The patient was then airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center for further aid. The name and condition of the motorcyclist at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the incident log did not mention if the driver of the car involved was hurt or whether or not that motorist stopped following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
