Major Injury Collision at Railroad Flat Road and Old Emigrant Trail Saturday
Mountain Ranch, CA (October 2, 2021) – Several people suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of Railroad Flat Road and Old Emigrant Trail Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a solo-vehicle veered off the traffic lanes while traveling in the streets of Mountain Ranch. Our sources indicated the gray Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into a tree at the intersection of Railroad Flat Road and Old Emigrant Trail.
The CHP logged the incident at approximately 4:25 p.m.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found three occupants outside of the wreckage. Paramedics checked the condition of all three victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the driver and the occupants all sustained major injuries as a result of the crash.
A helicopter later landed near the site, and transported one seriously injured patient to the hospital. The other two patients were taken by ground ambulances to the hospital.
At this time, the names of the injured parties remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car crash in Mountain Ranch.
