MTS Bus Driver Injured in Crash on South 43rd Street

October 29, 2018 – Injuries were reported after multiple vehicles collided on South 43rd Street Monday morning, according to San Diego Union-Tribune.

Officials said a Metropolitan Transit System bus, a Honda Accord, and another vehicle were involved in a wreck near an Interstate 805 Freeway off-ramp.
Shortly after 6 a.m., medical personnel rushed to the crash site and attended to the parties involved. As per the article, the MTS bus driver suffered unknown extent of injuries and was transported to UCSD Medical Center for treatment. At this time, the identity of the patient and their condition remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, it was not immediately discussed if there were other injuries in the accident.
The San Diego Police Department’s traffic division is the agency handling the investigation.
