Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash on Highway 101
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2023) — At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle Mountain View car accident on the northbound Highway 101, just north of Shoreline Boulevard.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 10:47 a.m. on Sept. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a white Honda CRV, a black Tesla and a grey Honda HRV were involved. The Honda HRV reportedly rear-ended the Honda CRV due to unknown circumstances. The two Honda vehicles had major damage from the collision and were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 Express Lanes. The 4-door Tesla was not drivable after the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those injured, including a woman who was in the white Honda CRV.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the accident on Highway 101 in Mountain View.
