Boy, 13, Killed in Collision at El Camino Real and Grant Road Thursday
Mountain View, CA (March 17, 2022) – A teenager died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of El Camino Real and Grant Road, the Patch News and ABC News reported.

Our sources indicated a collision between a truck and an individual riding a bicycle took place at an intersection in Mountain View. The crash happened Thursday morning, authorities said.
Investigators later determine the cyclist was a 13-year-old boy. According to the article published online, the teenager was riding his bike going to school. For reasons still unclear, a transport truck hit the juvenile at the intersection of El Camino Real and Grant Road.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all parties involved. Authorities later confirmed the 13-year-old boy sadly succumbed to injuries and died as a result of the crash.
Responding police shut down all northbound lanes on Grant Road from Phyllis Avenue to El Camino Real. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate precise cause of the accident at El Camino Real and Highway 237.
