Motorcyclist Hospitalized with Major Injuries
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2025) — A major injury motorcycle crash in Mountain View happened Tuesday morning on Highway 101, just north of Old Middle Field Way.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound US 101 at around 7:53 a.m. on Jan. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a motorcyclist and a grey Ford Fusion sedan were involved. The vehicles were blocking the slow lane and the rider had major injuries.
Paramedics responded to transport the injured rider to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the driver in the Ford reportedly stopped and cooperated with detectives and the investigation into what happened.
