Reckless Driver Crash on SR-14 at Agua Dulce Canyon Road

AGUA DULCE, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Thursday on the southbound Antelope Valley 14 Freeway in the Agua Dulce area.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash on SR-14 around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 21st, near the Agua Dulce Canyon Road on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses told CHP dispatchers there was a driver in a red Tesla seen speeding, weaving in and out of traffic, and driving recklessly before rear-ending a Mazda. One vehicle spun out and was facing sideways in the middle traffic lanes.

Other vehicles that were possibly involved were a Honda Accord, a silver Tesla, and a silver Toyota Camry.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help at least one person with minor injuries from the collision.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway.
