Multi-Vehicle Accident US 101 Freeway, Holly Street in San Carlos
Investigation into Crash on US 101 Near San Carlos Airport
SAN CARLOS, Calif. (Feb. 11, 2025) — At least one person was injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle car accident on US 101 Freeway, just south of Holly Street near the San Carlos Airport.
San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 10:26 a.m. on Feb. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a white Subaru, and two other vehicles were involved, the report said. The vehicles were blocking the fast lane and the numbers three and four lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics were requested to help at least one person who was injured, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed the Ford pickup truck with major front-end damage and the white Subaru from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 101 Freeway in San Carlos.
