Anaheim Car Accident on the Riverside (91) Freeway
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (August 16, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Anaheim car accident happened Tuesday morning on the Riverside (91) Freeway, just west of Glassell Street.
The collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway about 5:51 a.m. on August 16th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers involved included a white Toyota Prius and a gray Mazda SUV. A third vehicle reportedly left the scene without stopping.
The Toyota was apparently facing the wrong way following the crash. One person in the vehicle suffered a neck injury and required an ambulance.
Tow trucks responded to remove both the Mazda and the Toyota from the freeway.
Meanwhile, investigators with the CHP are heading up an investigation.
