4-Vehicle Collision on I-405 and Alameda in Carson
CARSON, Calif. (August 2, 2024) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Friday on the Interstate 405 Freeway, just south of Alameda Street off ramp in Carson.
The traffic accident occurred on the northbound I-405 at around 10:23 a.m. on August 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of an white Acura MDX SUV, a white Tesla, a black Nissan sedan and a fourth vehicle were involved and blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes and Nos. 3 and 4 lanes.
Two of the vehicles had major damage and a total of three tow trucks removed vehicles from the freeway.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital at this time.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the car accident on the 405 Freeway in Carson.
