Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 99
CHICO, Calif. (Sept. 15, 2023) – A four-vehicle car accident in Chico happened Tuesday afternoon on Highway 99.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 4:57 p.m. on Sept. 12th, according to the CHP.
The California Highway Patrol reported the northbound lanes of Highway 99 were backed up after the vehicles collided near Garner Lane, Action News Now reports.
First responders from several agencies including CAL FIRE and Caltrans responded to help those involved.
One person suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital or not.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the Chico accident on Highway 99.
