CHP Reports Crash on I-405 Freeway in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2024) — A four-vehicle collision happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway, just north of Euclid Street in Fountain Valley.

The traffic accident occurred at around 9:17 a.m. on Nov. 27th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

CHP officials reported the driver of a black Ford Raptor pickup truck overturned in a collision with a black Toyota 4Runner SUV, a Hyundai Ioniq SUV, and a white Scion. Other vehicles also blocked the FasTrak and fast lanes, but it’s unknown if they were involved.

Paramedics responded and transported one person with the last name Ono to Kaiser for treatment of minor injuries.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision on the Interstate 405 Freeway in Fountain Valley.
