Two Women Extracted from Overturned Vehicle, Interstate 15
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (May 13, 2024) — A multi-vehicle collision occurred in the city of San Diego on Interstate 15 on Saturday night.
The traffic accident occurred at around 8:07 p.m. on May 11th according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was reported that two vehicles, a white Toyota Camry and a grey Hyundai crashed into one another. The white Toyota Camry was flipped on the roof. In addition, both vehicles flew to the right hand side of the freeway. Two women were reported to be passengers in the white Toyota Camry. A bystander on the scene attempted to extract the women from the vehicle.
Tow trucks were requested on scene to remove the damaged vehicles from Interstate 15. Paramedics also responded to the report of an unknown injury and transported them to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is responsible for the multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15.
