3-Vehicle Crash on 101 Freeway at Universal Studios Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 6, 2021) — An ambulance was called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The collision was reported at 6:05 a.m. on Jan. 6 at Universal Studios Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Meanwhile, the CHP stated an older gray Honda Civic, a work truck and a semi-truck were involved. At least one person was hurt and the Los Angeles Fire Department sent an ambulance to the scene. It’s unknown how severe the injuries were, nor the age and gender of the victims.
At least one of the vehicles required a tow truck. Additionally, the vehicles were in the middle lanes and it caused traffic to slow down.
Furthermore, it’s unknown at this time what led up to the multi-vehicle crash. Investigators will review evidence and statements from drivers to determine fault.
