3-Vehicle Collision on the I-210 Freeway in Sunland/Lake Terrace Area

SUNLAND, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound Interstate 210 Freeway happened Tuesday morning near the Sunland Boulevard off ramp.

The collision occurred in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway at around 9:10 a.m. on Jan. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Subaru, a Toyota minivan and a Ford sedan were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles had its airbags deployed and another was facing the wrong way after the crash. The Ford had major damage and the Toyota minivan had major front-end damage and both required a tow truck.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sunland crash on the 210 Freeway.
