4-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 215 Freeway
GRAND TERRACE, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway happened Thursday morning, just north of Newport Avenue in Grand Terrace.
The collision occurred on the southbound I-215 around 7:27 a.m. on Sept. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The drivers of a grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a white pickup truck, a white SUV and a red sedan were involved, police said.
The Silverado and the red car were blocking the right lane of the I-215 Freeway. The other two vehicles pulled to the right shoulder after the collision.
One of the injured people was reportedly bleeding and required paramedics.
Tow trucks removed at least two damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on the 215 Freeway in Grand Terrace.
