3-Vehicle Collision on I-280 Freeway in Burbank

BURBANK, CA (Feb. 6, 2024) — Three vehicles were involved in a crash Tuesday on the 280 Freeway, just south of Bascom Avenue in Burbank.

The collision occurred on the northbound I-280 at around 9 a.m. on Feb. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Chevrolet Corvette, a white Honda CRV and a gray Honda Civic were involved. The Corvette had major front-end damage and its driver was in and out of consciousness, the report said.

Paramedics responded to transport the injured motorist to a hospital, but it’s unknown if others were also hurt in the traffic accident.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Corvette and possibly, other vehicles from the freeway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Burbank crash on the 280 Freeway.
