3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 405 Freeway
VAN NUYS, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Friday morning on the Interstate 405 Freeway at Sherman Way in Van Nuys.
Three vehicles collided around 8 a.m. on the northbound I-405 Freeway or I-15, just south of Glen Helen Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black Nissan Rogue SUV, a Honda CR-V, and a grey utility dump truck were involved. Both the Nissan and Honda had moderate to major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the collision, but there are no further details at this time.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 405 Freeway at Sherman Way in Van Nuys.
