Fire Department Required to Free Passengers out of a Damaged Vehicle
Diamond Bar, Calif. (July 10, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash occurred Monday, early in the morning, on the State Route 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar California.
The collision occurred about 5:27 a.m. on July 10th, on the Pomona 60 Freeway, at South Diamond Bar Boulevard in Los Angeles County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a Ford Escape or pickup truck, a trash truck and a silver sedan collided on the 60 freeway causing major traffic. All lanes on the highway became closed. The Los Angeles Fire Department were called and arrived on the scene. They aided in helping extricate a person from a vehicle involved in the accident. The paramedics responded to the accident and came to aid those injured in the collision.
Tow trucks were also requested on the scene to remove any debris and damaged vehicles off of the highway to restore the lanes blocked from the multi-vehicle crash on the 60 Freeway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault.
