5-Vehicle Crash on State Route 60 in Diamond Bar
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2021) — A Diamond Bar crash with five vehicles happened on the 60 Freeway near North Diamond Bar Boulevard early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the collision in the eastbound lanes of State Route 60 at 4:59 a.m. on Dec. 16h.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries reported by at least one person involved in the collision. Also, three of the middle traffic lanes were covered in oil spilled during the crash and required cleanup. CHP dispatch requested a sweeper truck respond for the cleanup.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles including a Dodge Charger due to damage from the Diamond Bar crash, the report said.
Also, authorities issued a SigAlert due to multiple blocked lanes from the collision.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the Diamond Bar crash.
