Four Car Collision in Intersection
Byron, Calif. (June 7, 2024) — A four vehicle car crash occurred on Vasco Road and Camino Diablo in Byron in the Contra Costa Canyon area.
The traffic accident occurred at around 4:24 PM on Friday afternoon on June 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Toyota Sienna, a blue Volkswagen Jetta, a white Chevrolet Silverado and a red Hyundai Sedan all were involved in the crash. These damaged vehicles were all blocking all the lanes of the roadway. It was reported that the Volkswagen was a major traffic hazard in the intersection where the crash took place. The CHP also reported that there was an uncertainty if anyone was injured due to the collision.
Paramedics from the Contra Costa County Fire Department responded and transported those who may have been injured to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Tow trucks were also requested to come to the accident scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the intersection.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the car crash in the intersection of Vasco Road and Camino Diablo.
