Multi-Vehicle Crash Douglas Road and Zinfandel Drive in Rancho Cordova

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Friday morning at Douglas Road, just east of Zinfandel Drive in Rancho Cordova.

The collision occurred in the westbound lanes at around 6:37 a.m. on Feb. 2nd in front of the FAA’s TRACON facility, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three or four vehicles were involved in the collision including a white sedan, a silver sedan and a teal Toyota Camry sedan, the report said. The Camry reportedly crashed into an embankment.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the accident.

Tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles from the roadway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Douglas Drive in Rancho Cordova.
