Multi-Vehicle Crash Fresno Coalinga Road or State Route 33 and 198

COALINGA, Calif. (June 20, 2025) — One person was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries after a crash involving three vehicles Friday on Fresno Coalinga Road or SR-33 and SR-198 in the Coalinga area of Fresno County.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 9:38 a.m. on June 20th, just east of South Buffalo Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol report – incident 0097.

The drivers of a blue Jeep or van, a white pickup truck, and a red sedan were involved, but it’s unknown what caused the wreck. One of the vehicles overturned and landed on its tires.
Meanwhile, paramedics were sent to help all three drivers due to injuries reported at the scene and one person was airlifted by SkyLife to Community Regional Medical Center due to major injuries.
Finally, the crash on Fresno Coalinga Road remains under investigation to determine fault.
