5-Vehicle Crash on State Route Highway 111 in Heber
IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2021) — A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 111 happened Friday afternoon near McCabe Road in Heber, Imperial County.
The traffic accident took place at 12 p.m. on Nov. 12th on State Route 111, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the CHP report mentioned that at least one person became trapped in a vehicle following the collision.
It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision, but three of the vehicles were badly damaged and required tow trucks.
Meanwhile, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office requested paramedics due to minor to major injuries reported at the scene. Police did not mention the age, gender or identity of the victims.
The report, however, did not say how many people were hurt in the Highway 111 crash.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the collision.
