4-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 17 in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 12, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning on Highway 17, just south of the northbound Interstate 280 Freeway in San Jose.

The four-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound SR-17 at around 8:21 a.m. on June 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a red Tesla Model Y, a grey Subaru, a black Land Rover SUV and a fourth vehicle were involved in a possible chain-reaction collision.

Paramedics responded and transported at least one person with minor injuries to Kaiser Permanent San Jose Medical Center.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Land Rover due to minor front-end damage and possibly other vehicles.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
