Major Injury Car Accident on Highway 26 Near Linden
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. (April 30, 2021) — A Highway 26 crash involving multiple vehicles happened Friday morning near Shelly Road in San Joaquin County.
The California Highway Patrol reports the Highway 26 crash happened about 8:21 a.m. on April 30th, just east of the Rancho Calaveras area. A San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office civil unit happened to come across the collision in the eastbound lanes and stopped to help.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the Highway 26 crash, police said. An ambulance responded to transport the person to a hospital.
Meanwhile, police did not mention what led up to the Linden area collision, nor how many vehicles were involved. Authorities will seek to determine if either driver was under the influence of drugs and or alcohol.
Finally, investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
