3-Vehicle Collision at Highway 49 in Auburn
AUBURN, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2024) — A three-vehicle crash happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 49 at Combie Road at the border of Auburn and Grass Valley.
The collision occurred at around 1:51 p.m. on Jan. 24th near the entrance to Cal Fire Higgins Fire Protection District Station 21, the California Highway Patrol report said.
The drivers of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a gray Subaru Forrester SUV and a white Kia sedan were involved. The vehicles were moved off the roadway and Cal Fire paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash on Highway 49.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
