2 Injured in Highway 70 Crash Near Beale Road
YUBA COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 1, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 70 at Beale Road left at least two people with injuries in the Linda community, just south of Marysville.
The 4-vehicle crash happened on the westbound SR-70 at North Beale Road about 8:18 a.m. on Feb. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a small white car, a full size pickup truck, an SUV and another car collided due to unknown circumstances. Both northbound lanes became blocked by vehicles, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office whose deputies were at the scene. Police reported the SUV had major front-end and side damage, the pickup had front-end damage and at least one of the cars had major front-end damage.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene to help at least two people with minor injuries from the collision.
Three tow trucks responded to remove the heavily-damaged vehicles from the crash scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
