3-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig Truck on Highway 99
MADERA, Calif. (August 9, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 happened Tuesday morning at the Avenue 9 off ramp near Madera.
The 3-vehicle collision involved a Chrysler, a black Chevrolet Impala and a big rig truck, according to the California Highway Patrol. One of the cars wound up in a small ditch and the other was near the center divider, the report said.
Someone called 911 to report the crash about 7:50 a.m. on August 9th, according to CHP officials.
A woman in one of the vehicles is pregnant and requested an ambulance. It’s unknown how many people suffered injuries in the collision.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Madera-area crash.
