5-Vehicle Car Accident State Route 99
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 23, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 happened Friday morning near the Broadway on ramp in Sacramento.
Five vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances around 11:41 a.m. on June 23rd in the southbound lanes of State Route 99, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a silver Hyundai Elantra, a black pickup truck, a blue Subaru, a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a fifth vehicle were involved.
Paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department responded to help at least one person with minor injuries from the collision. The report didn’t say how many people suffered injuries or if anyone was taken to a hospital.
Several vehicles including the Hyundai were towed from the freeway due to damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on Highway 99.
