Multi-Vehicle Crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway
WESTCHESTER, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway happened Wednesday afternoon near La Tijera Boulevard in the Westchester area of Los Angeles.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes about 1:32 p.m. on Sept. 14th, according to Bakersfield Californian and the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to the freeway crash scene and located the driver who called 911 for help in a Porsche Cayenne blocking the No. 2 lane. Also, a blue or green Subaru and another vehicle collided on the freeway in the fast lane. The airbags deployed on at least one of the vehicles involved.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol are working on liability for the case.
