Multi-Vehicle Crash I-710 Freeway, Florence Avenue, East Los Angeles

EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif., (April 29, 2026) — A high-speed collision involving multiple vehicles occurred Wednesday night on the I-710 Freeway South near Florence Avenue Onramp, resulting in significant injuries.

The incident was reported to the California Highway Patrol at approximately 7:24 p.m. when a gray Honda Civic, allegedly traveling at high speeds, collided with at least five other vehicles. The collision caused major damage to the involved gray Kia Soul, among others, and resulted in several vehicles blocking traffic lanes, while one vehicle was on the right shoulder.

Emergency response teams, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, were promptly dispatched to the scene to provide necessary medical assistance. The extent of injuries sustained by those involved has not been disclosed at this time.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances leading to this collision. They are urging any witnesses to come forward to provide more information that might assist in the investigation.
