Hit-and-run Driver Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2020) – A driver reportedly fled the scene of a crash on foot after setting off a 4-vehicle crash early Tuesday on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim.
The suspect was reportedly driving reckless prior to the multi-vehicle crash that left at least one of the vehicles in a ditch next to the freeway.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash took place about 3 a.m. near the Gypsum Canyon exit.
Witnesses say the suspect was driving a blue Chevy Cruz recklessly before the crash and their vehicle wound up between the carpool and No. 1 lane.
The man was last seen running from the scene of the collision, the CHP said.
It’s unknown at this time how many people were hurt in the crash.
