Ashland Crash on I-238 Freeway
ASHLAND, Calif. (Oct. 23, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Monday morning in Ashland on the Interstate 238 Freeway at the Interstate 580 Freeway interchange.
The traffic accident occurred on the northbound I-238 at around 10:47 a.m. on Oct. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a white Mercedes Benz and two semi-trucks were involved.
The Mercedes had major front-end damage and the Ford pickup had moderate front-end damage following the accident, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash, but there are no specific details in the CHP report.
Tow trucks removed the pickup and Mercedes from the crash scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Ashland crash on the 238 Freeway.
