Major Car Accident on I-10 Freeway

EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 19, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway happened Wednesday near North Eastern Avenue in East Los Angeles.

At least one person was injured in the 3-vehicle collision in the slow lanes around 2:26 p.m. on July 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a white Audi or BMW SUV, a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a white Toyota Highlander SUV were involved. The black pickup truck and the white Audi or BMW had major front-end damage.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located at least one person with injuries. The report stated “one party advises they cannot feel their legs.”

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
