Two Separate Collisions Involving Five Vehicles on I-10 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (Feb. 8, 2024) — Two separate multi-vehicle crashes involving five vehicles happened Thursday morning on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway in Los Angeles.
The initial crash involving three vehicles happened at around 6:44 a.m. on Feb. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP officials reported one of the vehicles spun around and was facing the wrong way in the middle lanes.
Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person with minor injuries to UCLA Medical Center.
Meanwhile, a second collision involving two vehicles happened just minutes after the first one, but there were no injuries reported on scene.
Two flat bed and two regular tow trucks responded to remove four of the vehicles including a white 2014 Toyota Prius.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the collisions on the 10 Freeway at Overland Avenue.
