3-Vehicle Crash on the I-10 Freeway in Banning

BANNING, Calif. (June 13, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway happened Monday morning near Sunset Avenue in Banning.

The three-vehicle traffic accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of the I-10 Freeway about 5 a.m. on June 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white sedan, a pickup truck and a third vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances. One of the vehicles was reportedly “totaled” in the collision. Also, the white sedan spun around and was facing the wrong way on the freeway. A person getting out of one of the vehicles appeared to be injured, the report said. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured person, but there are no further details about their condition.

Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles for evidence.

It’s unknown if any charges will be filed against whichever motorist caused the crash on the 10 Freeway in Banning.
