Car Accident on I-280 in Los Altos Hills
LOS ALTOS HILLS, Calif. (June 16, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash happened on the Interstate 280 Freeway, just north of the El Monte Road off ramp in Los Altos Hills.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes around 7:43 a.m. on June 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black BMW sedan, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck and a black Volkswagen Jetta were involved.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the collision. One person was found conscious and breathing with complaints of pain.
Tow trucks removed the Volkswagen with major front-end damage and its airbags deployed and possibly a second vehicle.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on the Interstate 280 Freeway.
