6-Vehicle Collision on I-405 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 18, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway, just north of Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Six vehicles were involved in the collision at around 12:48 p.m. on Jan. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Subaru, a black Honda Odyssey, a grey Toyota Prius, a silver Chevrolet and a white pickup truck were involved.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash in the carpool and No. 1 lanes of the I-405.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash.
Tow trucks removed at least four of the vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the crash on the Interstate 405 Freeway.
