Truck Overturns on I-5 Freeway
OCEANSIDE, Calif. (June 5, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway happened Monday morning, just north of Oceanside Boulevard.
The collision, involving a truck and several other vehicles, happened around 5:07 a.m. on June 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck reportedly overturned onto its side and a Bobcat also overturned. A Ford F-150 pickup truck was involved and possibly, a fourth vehicle.
Paramedics with the Camp Pendleton Fire Department responded to help one person with minor injuries and another with major injuries.
Tow trucks removed two of the vehicles from the roadway.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. Investigators are working on the case.
