Pile-Up Collison on I-605 in Pico Rivera
PICO RIVERA, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2024) — At least one person was injured Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Interstate 605 Freeway near the Peck Road on-ramp in Pico Rivera.
The traffic accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway at 8 a.m. on Sept. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP officials reported five or six vehicles collided in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the San Gabriel River 605 Freeway.
Paramedics responded and located one person unconscious in a vehicle, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, at least four of the vehicles were towed from the scene due to damage and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident.
