3-Vehicle Collision on State Route 99 in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Monday morning on Highway 99, just north of Mack Road in Sacramento.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes at around 8:07 a.m. on Jan. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Ford F-350 pickup truck, a small red sedan and a white GMC pickup truck were involved.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded with paramedics to help those injured and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento with a head and neck injury, the report said.
It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident at this time. Police issued a SigAlert due to the vehicles blocking the Nos. 1 to 3 lanes. Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on Highway 99.
