Truck Involved in Multi-Vehicle Pile-up on Pomona 60 Freeway
POMONA, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash involving a truck happened Thursday on the eastbound Pomona 60 Freeway, just east of Phillips Ranch Road in Pomona.
The collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
Several vehicles including a fuel tanker truck, a white Ford F-550 pickup truck, a white Tesla, a grey Honda, a black Ford Mustang, and a red four-door sedan were involved. Some of the vehicles crashed into the center divide and debris such as large concrete slabs wound up on the other side of the freeway in westbound lanes.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded with paramedics to help those injured, but there are no further details.
A SigAlert was issued for the HOV and Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes of the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Pomona 60 Freeway.
