
4-Vehicle Collision on Highway 37
SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (August 15, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on Sears Point Road (Highway 37) happened Tuesday morning, just east of Skaggs Island Road in Sonoma County.
The traffic accident occurred on the westbound State Route 37 around 8:30 a.m. on August 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision involved multiple vehicles including a grey Honda Accord, a white Chevrolet van, a black Toyota RAV4 SUV and a semi truck, the report said. Several tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person who was injured in the collision, but there are no further details.
Additionally, there were multiple damaged vehicles after the collision including the big rig truck with front-end damage and the RAV4 was unmovable.
The cause of the crash on Sears Point Road, as well as liability, are under investigation.
