7 Injured in 5-Vehicle Car Accident in Maywood
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2023) — Seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at Slauson Avenue and Alamo Avenue in the Maywood area of Los Angeles.
The collision occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1st, according to KTLA 5 News.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics and firefighters to the scene where they located several of the occupants from two of the five vehicles trapped.
One of the vehicles overturned in the collision.
Paramedics rushed three people who were critically injured to hospitals for further treatment.
Also, three people with minor injuries and one person with moderate injuries were also taken to hospitals.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Slauson Avenue in Maywood.
