5-Vehicle Pile-up on the Ventura 101 Freeway
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (March 20, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Ventura 101 Freeway happened Monday morning near Haskell Avenue in Woodley.
The collision occurred around 8:51 a.m. on March 20th, just west of the I-405 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a semi-truck, a red Honda pickup truck, a Hyundai SUV, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in the wreck.
The red pickup truck reportedly overturned onto its side and the vehicles were mostly blocking the left side of the transition lane, police said.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those involved in the crash, but there were no serious injuries reported.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed a few of the vehicles including the pickup and the SUV.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash on the Ventura 101 Freeway.
